I had the Beef Stew over Rice, and the meat was incredibly juicy and tender--it practically melted in my mouth with each bite. The rice was cooked to perfection, light and fluffy. I also tried the Pho Tai Nam Gau. The broth was rich and flavorful without being too strong. I'd definitely order it again. The service was excellent, too. The staff were very friendly and bilingual, speaking both Vietnamese and English, which made my family feel very comfortable.

I hardly complain but this place rubbed me the wrong way in more ways than one.. the service was good and the staff was very friendly. I don't want to take away from the service but my gripe is pretty reasonable.. The business is called the luck DUMPLING.. so you can imagine my disbelief when I called in an order and they told me that they don't sell dumplings at all here.. I was working outside across the road and had my heart set on dumplings above all of the competing restaurants in the area. I was caught so off guard and I didn't want to be rude so I went ahead and ordered something from here anyway. I got the yelp recommended beef roll. It was on the colder side which wasn't the worst thing but I didn't really care for the flavor or consistency all together. I won't give them less than 4 stars even though I should, only because I hope that they wake up and either change their name or produce some seriously tasty dumplings! The decor inside was super cool with the wall paintings. I really appreciate the design and the clean restroom. Maybe one day, I'll be updating this review with better feed back.

I've been here a few times already and their food is pretty good! I did notice that they changed their menu so they don't have the different varieties of dumplings, which I was pretty bummed about. But nevertheless, I always like to try out food when places update their menu, so I saw they had skewers, and I love skewers. I figured I would give it a fair try. Beef Skewers (3.5/5): the beef skewers had pretty good flavor. A few ratings down for how small the meat pieces were and they were a little tough. Lamb Skewers (3.5/5): again, the flavor was good, but the pieces were pretty small and some parts were a little more tough. Wonton in Chili Oil (5/5): I liked the wontons! They had a good amount of filling inside, the chili oil added a nice kick to the dish and the wonton skin didn't break apart easily when you pick up the wontons. Very delicious! Overall, the service was good and the employee was nice! A good amount of parking in the parking lot, too.

This restaurant is located in a small strip mall by Cheung Hing Restaurant, Starbucks, BBH Noodle, and Christy's Donuts. Upon entering the door, you are warmly greeted! She asked if I was dining in or takeout. I got takeout. Cute restaurant with new decor, clean, and Chinese art painted on the walls. I am aware I did not order any of their specialties. I will try that next time. Spicy Beef Tendon - ok, this was thin (but not too thin) slices of tendon. But, they were the biggest slices I'd ever eaten before. Usually, other places have tiny slivered pieces. Not this dish! This was expertly spiced with Sichuan Peppercorn, chili oil, cilantro, etc. For those who really like spicy foods, this was tame, but for me, this was spot on! I'd get this dish all day, every day. Cucumber salad - refreshing, crisp, crunchy cucumbers. I did not have any soft or mushy cukes. Chili oil, salt, vinegar, etc. This was good.

Lucky Dumpling is a small yet impressive restaurant with fantastic food. They have more than just dumplings, offering cold dishes and specialty options at affordable prices. The customer service is excellent, with attentive staff. I highly recommend adding the $2 for the pan-fried dumplings. If not, their regular boiled dumplings are still good. The pork dumplings were bursting with flavor and had a delightful texture. The beef wrap was delicious and even tasted fresh when I had it the next morning as leftovers. Another standout dish was the green onion pancake. Overall, Lucky Dumpling is a great spot for a satisfying meal with a variety of tasty options.
